Specialist training in specific areas of care
In addition to a standard training package working with health professionals, our care staff receive specialist training, specific to service users' needs, e.g. dementia, managing challenging behaviour, learning disabilities/impairment / autistic spectrum, misuse of alcohol and illicit substances, and end-of-life care.
Staff training needs are assessed regularly through supervision and appraisals. We work towards the professional development of our staff and offer support to achieve qualifications in health and social care.
My mother-in-law has been cared for by pleasant home care for the past 7 years, and her care has been nothing short of excellent. I would say that both the staff and management are exemplary going above and beyond expectations in making sure my mother is looked after and her every need is met. The staff are always on hand to assist in any emergency that may arise, going that extra mile. My mother has made friends with the carers and management they have even visited her in hospital on several occasions.
I would highly recommend this company and its caring and compassionate staff to anyone who is considering a care package for their family.
